Comprehensive Qi Gong for Internal Cultivation — Hunyuan Baduanjin
WBS 009
Hunyuan Baduanjin
"Hunyuan Baduanjin" goes beyond the limitations of traditional, purely physical stretching. By combining "void energy harvesting" (gathering Qi from the emptiness) with the channelling of energy fields, it deeply nourishes the five yin and six yang organs, as well as the bone marrow, from the outside in.
This practice emphasises active mind-intent guidance—where the mind leads the Qi, and the Qi drives physical movement. It also integrates micro-Qi-pulling between transitions to seal energy within the Dantian, ensuring the full absorption of vital essence and blood. At the same time, it fuses meridian circulation with spinal structural principles to efficiently clear the meridians, alleviate pain, relieve chronic fatigue, and comprehensively rebuild the body's self-healing power.
Core Features of the Practice
Harvesting Qi to Replenish Energy: Gathering and pulling Qi from the void to rapidly replenish the body with surging energy.
Mind-Intent to Clear Meridians: Using the mind to drive the movements, guiding Qi and blood directly to the internal organs and bone marrow to deeply clear the meridians.
Gathering Qi to Seal the Dantian: Practicing micro-Qi-pulling between movements to seal energy within the lower Dantian, nurturing the body's internal foundation and multiplying the health benefits.
Aligning the Spine to Alleviate Pain: Combining meridian-based spinal alignment with spinal adjustment principles to effectively relieve pain and fatigue, fully enhancing self-healing capabilities.
