Self-healing Exercises for frozen shoulder
WBS 030
Stretching exercise for frozen shoulder
“Frozen shoulder" is a condition characterised by chronic inflammation of the soft tissues surrounding the shoulder joint, including muscles, tendons, bursae, and joint capsules. The primary symptoms include shoulder pain and restricted movement. Individuals may experience stiffness in the shoulder, making it difficult to lift or rotate the arm, along with a persistent ache.
If left untreated, the condition can worsen and significantly impact daily activities. Simple tasks such as eating, dressing, reaching the back, washing the face, and combing hair can become challenging.
Common treatment options for frozen shoulder include acupuncture and massage, which can be slow and costly. However, frozen shoulder can also be self-treated through specific stretching exercises. These exercises are simple to learn and can be mastered in just 45 minutes. Once you’ve learned them, you can practice anytime, without time constraints, saving on expensive treatments and reaping lifelong benefits.
